Strategic Moves by Stuart Woods

This book is very typical Woods and I liked it.  It's a guilty pleasure and nothing is learned but it's relaxing and moves smoothly through the story.

Stone Barrington is made a partner of the law firm he represents and is given a big bonus.  He was also left a plane in a will of a client and he becomes a board member of that clients firm.  Things are going along swell until he sees Lance from the CIA.

Lance wants Stone to go on a mission to extract someone from IRAQ using his some of his new resources.  Stone ends up with a new client and negotiates with the US for his clients freedom and information on Bin Laden.

Lance dates a widow and aunt of a clients but the widow ends up dead and the client might be involved in a ponzi scheme.

It would be lovely to have a background as a cop, lawyer and investigator and become a corporate partner with at least a million at your disposal and of course a jet that you know how to fly.
